Tuition

Effective December 2022 Semester *

Effective December 2022 semester, MERP will introduce a new pricing structure for incoming new students to better align with how tuition and fees are positioned at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) and Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM).

  • While the overall cost of MERP is  $13,500 (subject to change without notice), the tuition and an estimated administrative fee are now listed separately
  • Under the new pricing structure, the tuition is $9,500 and an estimated administrative fee is $4,000. The estimated administrative fee includes the items listed below under Estimated Administrative Fee
  • MERP requires a $700 USD non-refundable seat deposit within 2 weeks of receiving your Preparation for Enrollment Packet to secure your seat. This will be applied towards your tuition upon starting the program.
  • Additional costs not included in tuition and the estimated administrative fee – laptop devices, books and supplies – will remain separate

Administrative Fee

Example of administrative fee software, programs, etc. may include:

  • Instructure Canvas - Learning Management System (LMS)
  • ExamSoft Digital Assessment Platform
  • Complete Anatomy App
  • Panopto Lecture Capture System
  • WebEx Video Conferencing
  • TeamViewer Remote Desktop Software
  • Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI)
  • CounSol.com (Online Counseling Solutions)

Additional Details

The purpose of MERP is to prepare enrollees to be successful medical students. Students accepted into this program will not be awarded any kind of degree or credential other than a certificate of completion. However, we believe that students who successfully complete the program will be prepared for the challenge of medical school.
