students have successfully completed MERP and advanced to Ross University School of Medicine and American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.

Grad Rates

MERP is an outcomes-driven program resulting in higher medical school completion rates when compared to students that were directly admitted to AUC or RUSM.

USMLE Step 1

From 2015-2018, MERP students who reached USMLE Step 1 have preclinical GPAs that are comparable with directly admitted Ross University School of Medicine students.

All MERP instructors hold either a PhD, MD or both in their field, and have significant experience teaching medical and undergraduate or graduate-level students.

What I enjoyed most about the program is the relationships that I’ve developed and will take with me for the rest of my life. I’ve met people from different ethnic backgrounds, beliefs, and parts of the country with one common goal... To become physicians. MERP has given me a head start and the reassurance in myself that I CAN do this.  Thank you MERP for preparing us to be successful.
